Place Properties initially hired me as their Community Advisor at Statesboro Place. The company was young, my property was new, and hard work and fresh ideas were actually listened to and appreciated. Understanding that our effort was recognized by our colleagues and the home office, we all grew as a team and cared about the success of our community. Over the past six years, that same mentality of appreciation and encouragement has helped me grow professionally. Since my college days, I’ve transitioned from a Community Advisor, to a Leasing Agent, and then the Public Relations Coordinator to my current position as Director of Public Relations. At Place, I feel like I make a difference and because of that, I am driven to better myself and help take Place to the next level.”

“Throughout my years at Place, I have had the opportunity to see the company grow from 4 people to over 250 people. I have held many different roles at Place and have worked to build partnerships with universities and foundations. I was also a member of the initial team that used technology to manage student housing. As Director of Leasing Solutions, I am now responsible for supporting all of our student housing communities as they use innovative systems and solutions to lease.”

“I began my career here as the Accounts Payable Manager in 1999 and have recently been promoted to the Payroll and Benefits Manager for the corporation. Needless to say, I had an expectation of a Place where I would learn and perfect my skills and grow with the company, and my expectation has been realized. The people who I have met and worked with here have brought a diversity of thought and experiences to Place. Working at Place Properties has been overall a great growth experience for me.”
