As National Development Partner, Brent oversees all of Development and Due Diligence for the East and West, and is responsible for the company’s development activities, including land acquisition and entitlement, market and feasibility analysis, programming, master planning, and project financing
Brent has been instrumental in the development and construction of well over $1 billion of multi-family rental and condominium properties, as well as office, retail, and commercial projects for over 20 years. He has worked in various divisions of JPI Luxury and JPI Student Living Development and Construction, as well as with other major developers such as Echelon Residential, The Related Group of Florida, Trammel Crow Residential, and First Worthing.
Recent awards for developments include the ULI Award of Excellence for the residential component of the Memphis Ballpark District – the 384-unit development with structured parking is in right and center fields of the new AAA ballpark for the Memphis Redbirds, and included the purchase and redevelopment of historic downtown YMCA on the National Register of Historic Places.
Brent is a frequent requested speaker at national multi-family conferences and active in many professional organizations.
